NEWS – We post many reviews and articles here at The Gadgeteer that involve EDC products.  However, when I stumbled upon Cache Cap, I found it to be fairly unique in the EDC product market.  Cache Cap is a normal-looking cap that has hidden compartments to store and conceal survival-type EDC items.

While Cache Cap looks like an everyday, low-key hat, its patented design has 6 hidden pockets tucked inside it.  As seen in the image above, there are 3 breathable mesh pockets in the front panels of the hat, a hook-and-loop closure under the center of the bill, and 2 narrow slot pockets under the side of the bill.  On its low-profile crown, it also includes a loop patch area with edgeless embroidery where you can attach your favorite morale patch for customization.  Cache Cap is made from lightweight, tear- and abrasion-resistant ripstop material and has a “no-snag,” hook & loop strap in the back for size adjustment.  It also has a buttonless top and a “keep-your-cool” sweatband.  Cache Cap is available in 4 colors—Camo, Coyote, Black, and Olive—and priced at $30 each.  For more info or to purchase Cache Cap, visit Wazoo Survival Gear, Grim Workshop, and Amazon.
